Sustainability Efforts
Powered in partnership with Sierra Nevada Alliance, Tahoe Environmental Research Center – UC Davis, & Take Care Tahoe.
As part of its on-going efforts to make Gambler’s Run Music Festival a sustainable & environmentally conscious event, the Crystal Bay Casino will go PLASTIC FREE for the event. Featuring stainless steel GRMF Souvenir cup, single use aluminum cups, canned water & 2 stream trash receptacles. The CBC has also partnered with League to Save Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Rim Trail, Tahoe Water Suppliers Association in order to bring this vision to a reality. Both Non-Profit groups, along with others will be onsite to help facilitate sustainability efforts throughout the event. Featuring Sustainability Talk each day with different subjects hosted by their respective organization.
At the 2024 event, we launched our Zero Single-Use Plastic Initiative and very proud to share that we saved over 75,000 single-use plastic cups and 22,000+ plastic water bottles from ending up in landfills. This aligns with our commitment to sustainability, as we continue to encourage environmentally responsible practices.

The idea of Gambler’s Run Music Festival came from the staff at Crystal Bay Club Casino wanting to create an event where locals, and out of town folks could gather at the Epicenter of Entertainment to enjoy some great music. As well as awesome drinks, and local vendor’s arts & crafts. Of course, the heartbeat of our community has always been the music, and here you can expect all the diversity Gambler’s Run Music Festival has been known for!
We hope that you will join us in our dream to keep the Crystal Bay Club Casino as North Lake Tahoe’s premier music destination for years to come.
