Bought out of Chapter 13 Bankruptcy in 2002, Roger & Elise Norman remodeled from the basement to the roof. The Crystal Bay Club Casino re-opened on July 31st 2003.2000s

After a tour of the Casino with Beach Boys’ Mike Love in 2003, The Normans were convinced to build a music venue, The Crown Room. The first concert was in late December of 2004 with legendary blues rocker Edgar Winter.2000s

In 2004, Bill Wood was brought in to manage the Crystal Bay Casino. Wood, spearheading the entertainment overhaul along with the help of Brent Harding, who started booking bands for the casino, and added top-notch soundman Blake Beeman.2000s

2017 brought one of the biggest concerts to hit the Crown Room. Mar. 17th-19th 2017 saw String Cheese Incident take over North Lake Tahoe with 3 SOLD OUT shows. Tickets were sold out almost instantly.

2022 saw the changing of the guard as Bill Wood retired and long time employee, Eric Roe stepped up to the plate. The Casino has continued to fuel Roger & Elise’s vision, creating the foundation to become the epicenter of enterteiment for Lake Tahoe.

In 2023, The Crystal Bay Casino introduced their Annual Music Festival – Gambler’s Run Music Festival. Featuring 3 days of indoor/outdoor stages, all day music and gaming, the CBC countinues to build on the live entertainment experience.2020s
