Tracorum, an original Rock’n’Soul/Rhythm’n’Blues band from San Francisco, is coming back to the Crystal Bay Club to play a free show in the Red Room Oct. 12.

The band is known for its epic live shows and original music. Steeped in traditional roots music, the band has continued to create a positively unique sound that is the vast umbrella known as Tracorum.

The concert will feature some of the San Francisco’s most talented and varied musicians: The individual sounds of South African drummer Ian Herman (Paul Simon, Sting, Mickey Hart Band, Vusi Mahlasela, Hugh Masekela) Mark Calderon (Zigaboo Modeliste, Leo Neocentelli) on bass coupled with soulful songwriter/pianist/vocalist, Fletcher Nielsen and the electric Derek Brooker on guitar make for a band who’s sound is equally masterful both in the studio and live on stage.
